New lunch menu launched

Our fab, new, lunch menu has been launched
Under the banner of "Great British food, simply prepared using the finest local ingredients" we've launched a menu that we hope helps you to easily identify what type of restaurant we really are, as it's something we're often asked.
Now we're shouting it loud and proud.
We're not complicated, we're not 'fiddly', we think we're exactly what you want!.
This menu is priced at £10 for 2 courses and £12.95 for 3 courses;
Starters
Soup of the day - Mistletoe Bakery bread
Smoked salmon - watercress - spring onion
English asparagus - fresh beetroot salad
Ham & peas pudding
Goats cheese & caramelised red onion tart - dressed salad
North Shields langoustine cocktail - white mustard cabbage
Mains
Rib eye steak - chips tomatoes mushrooms - done properly
North sea fish and chips - Brown Ale batter
Warm Northumbrian cheddar & tomato flan - rocket salad
Grilled mackerel - heritage potato and onion mustard
Pork sirloin - black pudding mashed potato
Liver & bacon - mashed potato and beef stock
Desserts
Sticky toffee pudding - Beckleberry's vanilla ice cream
Chocolate tart - whipped cream
Northumberland cheese - Ann Moore's chutney
Summer pudding - plain yoghurt
Rhubarb crumble - ginger ice cream from Blaydon
Baked custard tart - lemon cream
